1975 Jakob ben Luria established a foundation in order to make his knowledge of the
Thora (the Books of Moses) more accessible. One of his principles was that the results
of his work (since 1988 under the name "Jitzak Luria Academie") had to be available
free of charge. We, who carry on his work, fully stick to this principle.
The Tanach
program was developed for research into the depths of the Tanach (the "Old Testament")
and therefore, notwithstanding its extensive functionality and quality, it has to
be free for everyone who studies the Bible.
