The module for the vocalized text searches text with vowels. It can be started as
stand-alone program directly from the desktop or within the Tanach program:
Vowels
can conveniently be inserted in the search text by clicking the buttons right of
the mouse keyboard or with the keys F1-F10 of the computer keyboard. You can search
numerical values in the pointed text counting letters with a "Dagesh Forte" twice
or not. You can search:
- for all vowels as entered
- for only the entered vowels; the other letters will be found with every possible punctuation
- for every possible punctuation except the entered ones (NOT-function)
- (in combination with the previous three functions): for text with or without regard for dageshes
- using question marks to find every letter with every vowel on the place of the question mark.
Within the Tanach program text can be read and printed with vowels both horizontally
(Bible text) and vertically (matrix text), including red highlighted search results.
The text is vocalized according to the Masoretic text and four versions are included
(Standard text, Hebraica Stuttgartensia 1997, Westminster Leningrad Codex 2005 and
Aleppo Codex). Also the text of the King James (if opened) and the text of this module
run parallelly to each other. If the mouse cursor hovers over a Tanach word its grammar
appears in a popup window:
